My design GOODFELLOW top for Interweave Knits Summer, 2017 has a Garter stitch band that I needed to connect invisibly, so I came up with purl 3-needle bind off. Enjoy! This is also great for any number of situations when knit and purl stitches are combined. Example wide ribbing like k2, p2. 
Combination 3-needle bind off. Knit and Purl. Good for reverse Stockinette or Garter Stitch
